(Qiran) means that the pilgrim enters the state of Ihram for Hajj and ‘Umrah together (i.e. to enter in a state of Ihram for both Hajj and ‘Umrah) from the Miqat, completes the rituals of ‘Umrah, then remain in the state of Ihram in Makkah till the 8th. of Dhul-Hijja, which is the start of the Hajj. He performs the Hajj rituals then is released from Ihram.

The Logical Plan available on the right hand side of the screen explains step by step the stages performed by the (Qarin) pilgrim.

(Qiran) is so called because the pilgrim has joined together between the Hajj and ‘Umrah during the months of Hajj in one trip and with one intention.

Allah said:
“Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah – blessed and a guidance for the worlds. In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House – for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves – then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.”
